Looking for place to stay for apx. 8 weeks (sm. contruction crew) finishing up a new Target %26amp; due to arrive 7/13/08 thru 9/5/08. After making numerous phone calls around, we haven%26#39;t been able to find anyplace to stay due to the rally in August (imagine that!) Does anyone have any ideas (one of us has a small dog). We%26#39;re in California until the end of June finishing up a job. Thanks Mary

If you haven%26#39;t already, Google search ';Rapid City property management'; and see if a property management company will rent you some apartments. That%26#39;s about the best advice I can give.

There are several motels on East North Street that may be able to help you. Possibly the Stardust or the Castle Inn. There is a motel on the west side of town called the Family Inn that I see construction crews working out of--this is further from the new Target than the East North Street area.
