Just reading some of the posts here and really looking forward to our visit later this week. Our daughter is graduating from UNL in Lincoln and we have just about exhausted the venues in that state, so decided to visit the RC area of SD. Hope to have time to see Devil%26#39;s Tower too. Would appreciate any suggestions for a good cup of coffee in the SW part of SD and the Devils Tower area of Wy. Just regular coffee, nothing fancy. And I always enjoy visiting a local establishment. Thanx!

In Rapid City you might try Black Hills Bagels (Mt. Rushmore Road), Alternative Fuel Coffee (downtown), Bully Blends (downtown on Fifth Street), B%26amp;L Bagels (downtown), Tally%26#39;s (diner downtown), The Colonial House (restaurant on Mt. Rushmore Road). In downtown Spearfish on your way to Devils Tower, try Common Grounds.
There are many, many more--hopefully some other locals will chime in with their favorites.
