Are there any players club cards worth obtaining? Do they get you better prices on food? Any freebies with them?
Also, do any of the restaurants offer a good prime rib?
Thanks.
Players club cards
My friends that go to Deadwood a lot swear by players club cards. I haven%26#39;t bothered with them as I only go gambling a few times per year and don%26#39;t spend much when I do. Check with each casino to see what you get.
The prime rib at the buffets is usually OK. The Gem Steakhouse (Mineral Palace) had OK prime rib the one time I had it--I%26#39;ve had better steaks there. I guess I can%26#39;t recall ';really good'; prime rib anywhere up there.

Thanks for the information in your post. I appreciate it!
Hi - we just returned from a 3 night stay at AmericInn-hotel great as it was on 2 previous visits. We just love Deadwood. However, the AmericInn Casino has changed how rewards work with their player%26#39;s cards and we were a little disappointed. We played for 3 nights and could not use points as cash in slot machines anymore-apparently after 3 days of gambling we had not reached the preferred rating to do this. We had to purchase things in the gift shop just to use up points. We stayed 1 night at Prairie Knights resort in Fort Yates ND - earned enough points to each receive $10.00 back in cash, and believe me we gambled tonnes more at the AmericInn. Nonetheless, the trip was fantastic-I just don%26#39;t like it when someone %26#39;cheaps out a little%26#39; like this. Makes them look %26#39;small%26#39; if u know what I mean. We had a wonderful trip and really enjoyed shopping in Rapid City-what a lovely city indeed. Say the Berlin Wall display-unbelievable. Thank you South Dakota for another %26#39;quicky%26#39; getaway.
Really should proof read my posts - meant to say %26#39;saw the Berlin Wall display.
