I know its a long way off, but I%26#39;m bringing my lwife to SD in August 2009 to celebrate her 5oth birthday (its a surprise). I%26#39;ve been told that the powwow at Pine Ridge is on the first weekend of August. Can anyone confirm what the exact dates will be for 2009?

I%26#39;ve got lots of planning to do and this will be the main event of the trip so I need to make usre I%26#39;ve it right

Also be aware that the Sturgis Bike Rally dates for 2009 are August 3rd - 9th. Accommodations can be hard to find and very expensive during the rally.
