Best Pizza in Rapid City

I realize everyone%26#39;s version of the %26#39;best%26#39; pizza is subjective - but any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Best Pizza in Rapid City

BJ%26#39;s Grinder King is something you wont find just anywhere, very thick, very good.

Best Pizza in Rapid City

I second BJ Grinder King.

Although it%26#39;s not in Rapid City, we really liked Big Time Pizza at the Roosevelt Inn in Keystone. We really enjoyed the pizza here compared to what you find here in Jersey. We didn%26#39;t try the other suggestion given to you, but since the locals recommend it, I%26#39;m sure it%26#39;s good! Big Time Pizza would be convenient if you are visiting Mt Rushmore. We especially liked the ';cheeseburger pizza.'; Delicious and different!

I would also recommend the pizza at the Inn in Keystone. Stopped there on the way back to Rapid City from Mt. Rushmore and it was pretty good and the staff was very friendly.

I know it%26#39;s a chain and alot of people try to avoid chains but I would also recommend Boston%26#39;s. I was in RC for 5 days in October and had Boston%26#39;s twice, the pizza and sandwhich I had were both good.

We had great pizza in Custer SD at Pizza Works! Plus they have calzones, salad etc!!

The Pizza Lab in Central City just outside of Deadwood was better than we expected.

Back from our roadtrip to SD and we did go to BJ Grinder for lunch - their pizza was fantastic. Rapid City is such a %26#39;great place%26#39;. We really enjoyed our day of touring (staying in Deadwood) we saw the Berlin Wall monument-that was something to experience. Managed to shop at my fav. shoe store (which we don%26#39;t have in Canada) Famous Shoe Store and got 2 pairs-so that made the trip for me-lol.

I know you are back from your trip already, but the best pizza place in rapid is hands down Picasso Barn Pizza. It%26#39;s very authentic NY style pizza and everything on their menu is good. It%26#39;s a great mom/pop place, literally. Mom waits the tables and Dad is the cook. Love it if you ever get back here.

From the RC Journal:

';B.J.’s Grinder King closes its doors

Fans of B.J.’s Grinder King sandwiches and white cheddar pizzas will be sad to hear that the business has closed.

Owners Cindy and Roy Custer closed the doors May 10 after owning the restaurant for almost two years.

“Basically, I wasn’t getting enough customers,” Cindy said. “Everybody loves it, but nobody comes in. It’s really frustrating.”';

I loved their pizza. :-(
