Gold Mines

We are taking 3 girls to South Dakota in June. I think they would enjoy panning for gold. Which gold mine do you recommend?

Big Thunder Gold Mine in Keystone is an option. You can pan plus take a tour of the mine. There%26#39;s an interesting history behind it. There%26#39;s also a very nice souvenir shop at the end.

There are also places to pan outside of Deadwood. I think one is called Broken Boot??? Anyone..please correct me if I am wrong..

The web site for the Broken Boot mine in Deadwood doesn%26#39;t mention gold panning. Besides the Big Thunder mine in Keystone there%26#39;s also Wade%26#39;s Gold Mill near Hill City.
