Is it Worth Driving out of the Way to See this?

Is this worth driving out of the way to see??? Or is it mainly for kids? We are 3 adults not sure if we should stop. I like the Little House Books and series, but don%26#39;t know if we are stopping in Walnut Grove, if we should also see this.

I enjoyed our trip to DeSmet, SD to see some of the different things mentioned in Laura%26#39;s books. For further information, go to De Smet, SD web site and they will give you some other web sites to enable you to make a more informed decision. You can see the Loftus Store mentioned in the ';Long Winter';. the place they lived in DeSmet, and go out to their homestead. If you happen to be there in July, the pageant is July 11-13. 18-20, and 25-27. This was great and very worthwhile, just make sure to make advance reservations for a hotel room. Also, you could check out Lake Thompson, east of DeSmet, if you like to fish. Some years back it was almost dry, but not anymore.
