Jewel or Wind Cave?
Thanks...I%26#39;m going with Jewel cave and I%26#39;ll be sure to make a reservation.
Just looked at the post Accomodator referred you to look at. I think you will be happy with your choice. As long as your in-laws can do steps, they will be fine. If they are a bit slower and not in as good of shape, they can always stay up close to the ranger, since he/she usually sets a slower pace so that everyone can keep up. The more fit people usually wind up at the back..or in my case..the shutterbugs..I always seem to wind up back there because I%26#39;m too busy taking pictures!
Have a great time!
I don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s ';officially'; allowed on a tour, but last time I toured Wind Cave, I used a little key chain flash light to light up some of the areas that weren%26#39;t lit. I was at the back of the group so I was able to do this without scrutiny. Just beyond small openings there are large caverns that are unlit that go unnoticed as you walk by unless you have your own light.
