I have heard that Good Morning America will be coming to Belle Fourche and the Center of the Nation for a 50 state flag raising ceremony on August 16th. Is this true? I also heard that Belle Fourche is looking for people from all 50 states to raise their state flag during the ceremony. Who would I contact to do this? This sounds like a wonderful opportunity to have my kids participate in something great. Way to go Belle Fourche for setting the bar! Any information on this event will be greatly appreciated. We will be in the Black Hills from August 12-20 and had planned on visiting the center of the nation and will now make sure to do so on the 16th for the ceremony.
