Hi , I%26#39;m making the trek again to Sturgis. This time riding , as well as my girlfriend is riding. I%26#39;ve been down there a few times already , and made plans in advance.

this time we are just going to wing it , I%26#39;ve stayed in Spearfish twice ( love it there) and Bel Fouche once.

Are there any hidden campgrounds in the spearfish area no-one really knows about ? or anyone rent their yard out or space out? I%26#39;ve done this in the past and loved it.

I love the proximity of spearfish and would really like to stay there.

We are two young professions , don%26#39;t drink , don%26#39;t smoke.......... just need a place to call home for a few nites as I show my g/f around.......

There used to be a campground in the park next to the trout hatchery. It can get quite crowded; sorry don%26#39;t know the exact name but if you google campgrounds in/near Spearfish, you should find something. Also you can google private rentals in the Sturgis/Spearfish area and may come up with more. Have a great time! We are staying in Rapid City this year.

Have you also been on the Sturgis Rally web site? There are a lot of rentals of private property there. My husband said that the Spearfish City Campground was fully booked as of last weekend.

You never know who you%26#39;ll run into out there. I%26#39;ll be the grandmother with a lovely daughter, handsome husband and son-in-law, and the cutest little 13 mo old grandson ever. I%26#39;m 5 ft tall, 165 lbs (don%26#39;t go there), dark brown hair and a tatoo in my left ear. Have a great time.
